Several Belgian IFBB-Belgium members will enter IFBB Pro shows the coming year; Koen Balcaen, Daron Lytle, … and an offer has been proposed by the NGA to Paul Praet to enter the Masters’ Olympia! Com’on Paul make up your mind!

Other international IFBB-Belgium members will enter the “Elite Tours” for international amateurs with a min. of 10 to 20 000 EURO as prize-money! The first candidates to enter will be Mario Van Steenberghe and Dave Idowu Mori! Follow our talkbacks’ for more.

The amateur junior and masters’ World championships will take place in Italy late November. The “European champs” in Tyumen/Siberia, June 14-19.

Fifteen new gyms affiliated to our IFBB-Belgium federation. Check our website listing: others will enter the coming months as several others made requests.

Several IFBB Belgium gyms will have big times  the coming year:
Romans’ Power Gym Geraardsbergen & Fitness Gym/Shop Eeklo are exisiting 35 years but Pierre De Bondt’s Fitness Gym in Jette-Brussels beats them all with 40 years! Congratulations to Jozef, Roland & Pierre!

IFBB Belgium gym-owner and judge Ronny Vermeulen opened an ACTIVATE SHOP at his gym-address in Deinze: call 09/380 30 37.
David “Mister Belgium” Vandenbosch also runs a similar shop in Gentbrugge: call 09/329 85 04. All IFBB-members welcome!

Frank Gall of hardcore-history in Antwerp in the late seventies and early eighties will come back to the hardcore-gym-business the coming year! Good news for all real bodybuilders in Metropole-city Antwerp!

Fabienne Antoine is back again IFBB and won recently the Weider Gd Prix in Marseille, France.
She will enter all IFBB Belgium Gd Prix's the coming year.

Severall IFBB Pro champions will appear at our new Gd Prix in Frameries-Mons upcoming May 12, 2007.
Markus Rühl will be top of the bill and there will be a record prize-money of over teh 10.000 EURO offered by organizer Body Zoï Gym.

"Athletic Store" (Woluwe-Brussels) will open a complete new gym early january ("Athletic Fitness Center").
Owner Mimoun Lahmami will welcome all IFBB-bodybuilders and fitness freaks for the Grand Opening. Check TALKBACK for more news soon.

Congratulations to Daron Lytle (overall National Champion) and his wife Heather with the new baby Nadia!

During the Masters’ world champions in Agrigento-Sicily (Italy) two fine results from our members:
Koen Balcaen placed runner-up in the +90 kg and become a pro coming January: Nadine Aerts took 9th place in one-line up.

Marc Vaneynde stopped his bodybuilding contest career with a 6th place at the most recent Slovakian Gd Prix.

Daron Lytle (also a pro this year!) appeared in the USA-Flex Talkback together with Günther Schlierkamp at the opening of the of new Elite Gym in Ghent.

The National Assembly had place on Sunday Jan. 28th, 2007 at Heracles-Westerlo.
Open to all members.

Daron Lytle and Natalia Tonglet won overall Athlete of the year trophies but several other members also recieved attention for their results the past year:
Miguel Perez, Mario Van Steenberghe, Chris Meys, Paul Praet, Nadine Aerts, Marc Vaneynde, Dave Idowu Muri, Jean-Paul Verschelde (gym leader!) and Laurent Dumoulin (scored first ever hat-trick at nationals with 3 titles!).

Contest dates for 2007 by IFBB-Belgium:
May 12th, Mons: June 2nd. Marcinelle-Charleroi (both Gd Prix’s) and
the final (Nationals I & Fed Cup) on Oct 13th. Brussels (same hall as the year before; Auditorium Jacques Brel).

International “Europe” dates 2007:
May 5th, Men in Baku/Azerbaijan
May 19th, Woman in Cacak/Serbia.

New IFBB-gym “Body Zoï” from Frameries will run the Gd Prix in Mons (May 12th, 2007).
________

André Wouters judged  the recent “Elite Champions Tour” in Prague, Czech Rep.
________

World Championships 2007:

Woman in Santa Susanna/Spain during the month of September.
